Looks like MSI is launching a meaner version of their Hawk series GTX 460 card, dubbed “Talon Attack”. Bird of prey? Well it tries to live up to it’s name, so it comes with higher clock speeds 810/1620/3900MHz (GPU/Shader/Memory) compared to the “regular” Hawk edition’s 780/1560/3600MHz. It also comes with lower latency memory modules (0.4ns) to improve OC capabilities. The cooling solution is the same MSI’s Twin Frozr II, so is the PCB which retains the Hawk features; 7+1 phase VRM design with APS (Active Phase Switching), consolidated voltage measure points and “Military Grade” components meaning Hi-C capacitors and Super Ferrite Chokes. For connectivity one gets two DVIs and one HDMI output.
